Meet the Partners - 2CA Braga
The Clinical Academic Center - Braga (2CA-Braga) is a pioneering non-profit partnership dedicated to advancing clinical research and improving patient outcomes. Formed by the University of Minho (through the School of Medicine and the Institute for Research in Life and Health Sciences), the Hospital de Braga, E.P.E., and the CUF-Porto Hospital, 2CA-Braga focuses on facilitating projects in clinical research, translational research, and clinical trials.

To achieve this, 2CA-Braga offers extensive services to the clinical and scientific community, carrying out scientific activities in the health sciences field.
Currently, the 2CA-Braga team is heavily involved in the 3DSecret project, a significant initiative to develop and optimise medical devices that enhance cancer diagnostics and relapse monitoring for high-risk patients.
The success of the 3DSecret project is driven by a multi-disciplinary team from 2CA-Braga, including medical experts from the Oncology Department of Hospital de Braga, study nurses, project managers, and finance project managers.
